BarCampDallas Presentation

Kevin did a great job presenting SimpleTicket at BarCampDallas. Woot! The source code has been released, now the real work begins - with the community (that hopefully) will be formed around the tool.

What is SimpleTicket? Think simple, easy to use trouble ticket system freely distributed via the GPL license written using Ruby on Rails with Ajaxian goodness.

Congrats on the release! I noticed that the tarball contains an stadmin directory and a tt directory. The application in stadmin has more stuff, and it lets you login, but it seems incomplete. Are we supposed to merge what’s here with what’s in tt? Also, I don’t suppose there’s anonymous svn access?

    Exciting!

Jenny: I am working on a post now to go over the technical details - after BarCamp this weekend I was pretty much tech’d out ;)

tt is the client side of the system, stadmin is the admin side. I will try to lay that out better in the post (and on the SF site).
