Post Barcamp SimpleTicket News

Finally, the SimpleTicket code is complete and in production at Architel (as of this weekend). I think everyone is pleased with the results. We would have posted the code already, but we are in the midst of an important development project with Fox Television.

We should deliver our Fox project on the 22nd and soon after that we will have the time to put the code up on the SVN and on the demo site. If you have a specific need for the code (several companies have received early versions of the latest code) just give Alexander Muse (214.550.2003) a call and he will be able to help you get an unreleased version of the latest code if you have a plausible need.

Update: 10 companies have the new code. . .

    That’s excellent! I hope you’ll release soon after 22nd :-)

We could really use the code. We are seriously looking at another ticket solution and would like to have yours to compare. Unfotunately, I was unable to get the previous verion working.

    thank you.

hope for a quick release too. i need to get a ticket system in place very very soon.

I could certainly use it to test as well. I’ve gone through something like 10 CRM/ERP packages in the last couple of days, and none of them have the functionality (even close) to work with. I’ve considered paying for development of one - if this is even close, I don’t have a problem with helping with development. (even the most current ‘not quite ready’ code would work for testing)

Hey Alex, I called you but got a voicemail system and I left a message, but received no response. I’ve been through a ton of CRM packages lately, and not much is up to snuff for my needs, simpleticket seems like it will fit my business model perfectly. Are you guys planning on releasing the hosted solution tomorrow too? Or just the final codebase for version 2? Anyways, I’d be glad to pay for a hosted solution, let’s get this running!
